Fellow baby boomer Scott Keith is a freelance writer in Portland, Oregon. Scott enjoys writing about health and wellness issues. Scott is a regular contributor to 52perfectdays.com, a travel website, and has a background in news broadcasting, serving several years as radio News Director in the Pacific Northwest. Scott has covered news events from Klamath Falls, Oregon to the northern Oregon and southern Washington coasts. His broadcasting career includes stints at KVAS radio in Astoria, Oregon and KAGO radio in Klamath Falls. Hello, nice site. I think its interesting that you call a Midlife Crisis ‘a guy thing’. I seem to know plenty of women who may not be having a “crisis” but are realizing their own mortality.

Hello Terry, Thank you for your comment. Yes, men and women can experience a midlife crisis. As they say, 90 (years old) is the new 60….70 is the new 50….50 is the new 30.

yes, as life gets longer, the midpoint shifts. there was a day when life expectancy was about 30 years old, and mid life was 15! 🙂
