I wanted to have a little fun with this blog post, while at the same time reminding folks that several restaurant items pack a ton of calories and fat. The Center for Science in the Public Interest has just revealed the Xtreme Eating Awards. The center looked at several chain restaurants and menu items that included burgers topped with pork belly.

I don’t have a beef with any of the listed restaurants (I live close to several of them), but the word is moderation when dining out.

The Center for Science in the Public Interest has come out with several headline-grabbing new releases over the past several years;  the center pointed out the high-calorie content of Chinese Food and movie theater popcorn.
